Where is our faith placed? So many were caught up in the excitement of President Trump. In what he said he would do, in the cleansing he said he would bring in America. Drain the swamp. Wasn’t just a chant but a plea of the people who wanted and needed more. Those who were tired and weary. I fully believe God used President Trump and will continue to use him, but my faith is not placed in a man. What we are going through is exactly what the church needed to go through! We needed to be brought to our knees before the Lord. We needed to see that only One rules and reigns and One and only One is in control.
“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and says ‘Son of David, have mercy on us!’ And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’ Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith let it be to you.’ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying ‘See that no one knows it.’” Matthew 9: 27-30
Jesus asked a beautiful question to these men who needed a miracle, He asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He didn’t ask them if they thought they personally possessed enough faithful their own ability to be made well, but if that their faith was placed in Him and in His ability to do this.
“Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. “I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king’s demand.””
Call me into your presence. I am yours. Speaking to what’s broken, you have made me whole. Surrounded by your goodness, I am transformed.
Let me not lose sight of Your call, breaking off all bondage, I release Your storm. You are not finished yet. Not even close. I hear the cracking of lightening, the monsoon has begun. Rain pouring fourth covering all of Yours. Drentched in the glory, a boldness born.
We are the Fathers. We will not waiver. We will be in full pursuit of it all. We are here to release for the Lord. Where we go, the earth is skaking engulfed in the storm. For the Lord says
“I am here. This is my glory. I’m shaking the earth. I’m more than the force of lightening and the sound of thunder. Hear my roar. I. Am. Here! Come before me forver pure. Stand in the faithfulness of truth. Be I. Pursuit of what is holy. Do. Not. Rest. Press in deeper. Leave nothing left. I want I all. The whole broken mess. Here I Am To restore.”
Let us keep our eyes on what the Lord is doing. Chose today, that deep roots will take form within you. That you become so stunned by His glory that no matter what you will come before Him and wait until He speaks to move and act. That His voice and His voice only will be the driving force and the force of truth within your life.
“And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17
Let us each pray for opened eyes and pray that others eyes will be opened.
