This morning I was out walking. It was very windy, about 21 mph not including gusts, and when I was out there I felt the Lord say, face the wind. So I turned and just felt the wind blow against me and the Lord said to me, it is only natural that we face the wind, and now is the time to face the wind and now is the time to become the Joshua’s and Caleb’s.
But so many people are fearful right now, so many people are down cast, so many people are filling others with doubt. Many are now saying, “Where can we go up? Our brethren have discouraged our hearts, saying, “The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.” ’”
Will we be the Israelites that had become so acquainted and adorned in the Egyptian culture that they lacked a faith in the Lord? Will we not enter the promise land because we want the culture of the world? Will we be a faithless generation who will not see the promises of God unfold? Or will we be courageous and prepare ourselves for the promise land. There will come a time where we must stand up and face a truth, the truth that the church is under attack. Will we be the generation that says enough?
Father I pray that we be strong and walk boldly, continuing courageously, all while remaining beautiful at heart.
